Accenture Interactive Leader Deepens Management Ranks: Christopher Rowlison Named President, Liquid Agency

Liquid Agency is expanding its senior leadership ranks with the addition of Christopher Rowlison, who joins the 18-year-old strategy and Brand Culture agency as president. He comes to Liquid from Wire Stone, part of Accenture Interactive, where he was SVP/chief client officer. Christopher assumes the president role from Scott Gardner, who will remain CEO of the agency he co-founded in 2000.

Rowlison has spent the past 16 years at Wire Stone, which was acquired by Accenture Interactive a year ago as part of Accenture’s strategy to expand its creative marketing capabilities and digital marketing solutions. At Wire Stone, Rowlison was part of the leadership team and helped grow its global footprint.

“Christopher is a highly skilled and seasoned agency leader with big brand expertise, and we are excited to have him join us as president,” explained Scott Gardner, CEO of Liquid. “I will focus on agency vision, leadership of our executive team, strategic partnerships and working with our global advisors. Christopher will be responsible for top-line growth of the agency, focusing on client experience and strategic offering to propel Liquid to the next level. Our one-of-a-kind approach to helping our clients transform their brands by aligning their culture with their employees and customers is in great demand, and we are looking at Christopher to accelerate our growth.”

Liquid Agency has expanded its consulting and strategic offering with a focus on Brand Culture. The agency’s ability to align a company’s customer, employee and service experience, centered around solid brand strategy, breaks down old silos that inhibit success in today’s connected world.

The new leadership structure comes as the agency evolves as Brand Culture Makers who help clients build brands people believe in.

“Liquid’s deep experience in culture branding puts them at the forefront of this emerging business need and certainly where forward thinking companies will be focusing,” noted Christopher Rowlison. “Being back at an independent company that has the ability to anticipate changing business needs and adapt its own model to quickly and efficiently meet these needs is the key reason why I chose to join Liquid.”

Rowlison held a variety of roles during his 16 year tenure at Wire Stone, with a focus on driving growth for the company and for its clients by implementing enterprise-wide marketing solutions built to spark loyalty by leveraging digital engagement and customer emotions. He also worked on the client side, holding numerous roles at Hewlett Packard, including global marketing and management positions.

The new leadership structure comes as the agency evolves as Brand Culture Makers who help clients build brands people believe in. Over the past year, Liquid has added significant senior leadership to its team including Katie Wignall, VP of Experience and Culture, Tony Cordero, VP Creative, Darin Albers, VP of Media, and José Rivera, Director of Delivery among others.
