Martha Bowman brings 15 years of senior strategic experiences, a clear understanding of branding practices, and an amazing amount of energy to Liquid, where she is responsible for the agency's Brand Strategy practice.

Professional Bio:
In her current role at Liquid and in her former position as Exec VP Marketing for DeLor, a brand consulting firm based in Louisville, KY, Martha's job has been to solve complex brand problems for a variety of B2B and B2C companies. She's worked with top global pharmaceutical and biotech companies, helping them successfully position their corporate and product brands to consumers, healthcare professionals and the financial markets.

Martha helped pioneer a proprietary branding process that allows clients to see their brands from an outside perspective and identifies opportunities for clarity, differentiation and powerful branding opportunities. Perhaps due to her early career as an investigative journalist, or perhaps due to her affinity for strategic thinking, Martha has developed an approach that enables her to evaluate research data and extract a brand's special essence in a way that is both intuitive and highly sophisticated. With an emphasis in corporate and product brand identity, Martha has launched and repositioned dozens of corporate and product brands for clients such as Pfizer, Elan, General Electric, GlaxoSmithKline and P&G.

Martha holds a BA degree in journalism from the University of Utah. She frequently shares her branding insights and point of view as both an author and speaker at branding and design industry events. Martha's articles on branding have been published in Design Management Journal and Pharmaceutical Executive. Speaking engagements at annual Medical Marketing Association national conference and at DMI – Design Management Institute conference.
