Professional Bio:
Yuki started her career in marketing at Ezaki Glico Co Ltd, working in product design for one of Japan’s major food companies. She was inspired to travel the world to study graphic design, completing a foundation course in New York and gaining a First in Graphic Design at Nottingham Trent University School of Art and Design, where Mark Shaw is a Visiting Fellow. Yuki also won a New Designers Award when she graduated in 2005. Yuki is also a History graduate from Kwansei Gakuin University, and is able to draw on a vast knowledge and experience to create strong brand design concepts.

After graduating from Nottingham Trent University, Yuki worked as a graphic designer for Midlands-based Jupiter Design and developed her design skills for retail clients. Working closely with our President Mark Shaw, she is one of the lead designers for Liquid Europe. Yuki is now based in Japan and is closely linked into the creative team.

Yuki enjoys making woodcut printings and holds exhibitions of her work in Japan. She says printmaking is a very primitive and natural form of art, and enjoys the way it balances her studio work.
