Our management team.

Liquid was founded by industry veterans who are passionate about building brands and creating a respected, well run business. Over the last few years we've built a management team to help us accomplish our goals — and we feel lucky to work with such a talented and dedicated group.

Richard and his studio, Prospect, bring cutting edge thinking and challenging solutions-led innovation to Liquid Europe's creative and strategic work. Richard's digital team work in close strategic partnership with us at Liquid Europe.

Professional Bio:
Richard is a designer and strategist with almost three decades of professional experience. Trained as an industrial designer, he has led multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural design teams at IDEO, Whirlpool Corporation and the Design Council. He is a frequent speaker at conferences and seminars, and is currently working with the Big Potatoes design subgroup to develop the London Manifesto for Innovation.

Richard has been Director of Design and Innovation at the Design Council, responsible for leading design campaigns in the areas of manufacturing, technology, learning environments, and design skills. He has led design groups while with Whirlpool in Italy, IDEO in Boston and Sottsass Associati in Milan, and has lectured at design and business schools worldwide. He and his teams have been recipients of numerous awards, including The Smithsonian National Design Award, IDEA/Business Week Awards and design distinctions from iF Hannover and ID Magazine.

Richard is currently Strategic Director of Prospect, which he founded with Anja Klüver in 2005 to focus on creating great customer experiences. Together they have delivered significant bottom line value to clients such as BMI Airlines, Nokia Siemens Networks, Tesco and Nokia among others. A key element of Prospect's current work is the development of design innovation programs for small and medium-sized enterprises, in conjunction with regional and national bodies across Europe. These programs have yielded returns of over $10 in Gross Value Added for every dollar spent.

With a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural outlook, Richard enjoys solving tough problems, working from all sides to deliver meaningful solutions that provide business benefit for clients.
